About Me

I've loved baking since I was a pre-teen in my grandma's kitchen. My passion for food and love for baking began in her kitchen as she taught me how to prepare pie dough, make homemade taffy, prepare fresh fruit syrups and can ripe blackberry jam from freshly-picked berries. I carry her love for food, preparing meals and baking with me today.

Baking has always been a hobby of mine and I've enjoyed trying new recipes over the years. I started learning about sugar cookies, the science of baking and royal icing in the winter of 2024. That interest, attention to detail and desire to find an absolutely divine sugar cookie led me into baking them for birthdays, recitals, holidays, graduations and life events for my family and friends. I spent a year perfecting the absolute best sugar cookie and getting feedback from anyone that would give it. I finally landed on what I think is the perfect combination of sugar cookie and royal icing. 

This journey has brought me to create Bake My Day Sweet, LLC a cottage bakery specializing in indulgent hand-decorated sugar cookies made with high quality ingredients and an attention to detail.
